After almost a whole month filled with rainy days, we decided it’s only appropriate to show off some of our favorite wet gear, along with our essential tops and accessories for this spring season.
But of course, we can’t control the weather. What we thought would be a rainy/cloudy day, instead was filled with sun and WIND. Uncontrollable, high winds that couldn’t be avoided, and had us turning in circles just to avoid hair in the face. Needless to say, we had fun with it!
RAIN
Laura is rocking her Burberry quilted jacket (that I want to steal) with her J. Crew jean shorts and Hunter boots. This look is so frickin’ adorable for spring. We love when girls pair high boots with washed denim shorts. It’s casual and the perfect ‘day’ outfit when it’s warm but rainy out.
I’m wearing a vintage, Maison Jules trench coat paired with my own Hunter boots, which just screams “I want to jump in a puddle!” Give me all the puddles. (Shop similar trench coat from London Fog)
How cool are bubble umbrellas? They are so big and roomy, that Laura and I could probably both fit under one if we had to! This one in particular was a birthday gift from Laura to me, and I just love how bright it is, but still offers visibility. (Shop similar umbrella from Vera Bradley)
SHINE
Flutter sleeves are definitely on trend this season, and Laura couldn’t look any sweeter in this Kate Spade peplum top. It’s laid back, but still perfectly polished for the office during the day, or a night out on the town. Laura’s Antonia Tassel Necklace and Sculpted X Cuff are both Stella and Dot. Her shoes are from Old Navy. (Shop similar Kate Spade flutter top)
I’m wearing a high neck, ruffle hem blouse made by Ro & De (color is Canyon Sunset). I love this top because it looks like something out of an Anthropologie magazine, but it’s actually more affordable for your everyday wear.
