“It’s crazy to think that Griffin was chosen for us, or better yet, he chose us. “
I can’t even believe this day has come and gone in a matter of days (or so it seems!)
The big O-N-E. #1. One & only. The BIG day. Toddler. And Griffin? The day he l.i.t.e.r.a.l.l.y became a BOY. A real boy. I can’t help but think that my little (big) baby has inhabited our lives for 365 days. That’s really not that long, but things have changed so much! From his “smallish” size and puffy eyes, to his dark hair and planking skills…don’t believe me? Check out our Facebook page for proof. Haha, only my kid! These changes are just the beginning, I know. The whole thing is just bittersweet.
But when I think more about it, he has made our life complete. He is everything Garin and I needed to be better people, and we’ve learned a lot in such a short time. It’s crazy to think that Griffin was chosen for us, or better yet, he chose us. Either way, we’ll take it! We’re the luckiest parents in the world.
All in all, this is something to celebrate! And what better way than a backyard party?! Today, I’m giving you a glimpse into his special day. Enjoy!
