A few weeks ago, you got read all about what Laura wants for Christmas. Now, I’m sharing my holiday wishlist as well! No matter how old I get, my mom always ask for my Christmas list, and every year I tell her that I don’t really need anything….but at the same time, I don’t have trouble with coming up with things I want – ha! I usually end up choosing a few home-related items and a new outfit (inclusive of a top, bottoms and shoes). Below are some my favorite items that I hope are under the tree this year.
My Holiday Wishlist
1. A puppy!
Andrew surprised me with an early Christmas gift this year, and his name is Marshall! He’s been on my Christmas wishlist for quite some time now, but I definitely wasn’t expecting to actually get him this year! Fun fact about me and Andrew….we’ve been talking about our hypothetical dog named Marshall for almost four years now. We’ve always talked about what life would be like when we got him, and now I can officially say that life with Marsh is so much better. We’re definitely in a little over our heads, but so excited to have this fur bull in our fam. He doesn’t know that he was a long time comin’ <3
2. Staple Outfit for Work
When I ask for a new outfit, I try to choose staple pieces that I can mix and match with other things that I already have in my closet. This year, I chose the Parke Blazer (in caramel), the Perfect-fit turtleneck (in stripe), both from J. Crew, along with these chewed-hem Madewell skinny jeans, and finally a pair of laceless oxfords from Target.
3. Head Table Chairs
These fabric chairs from Pottery Barn caught my eye quite some time ago. Because Andrew and I bought our dining table from PB, we fell in love with these gorgeous (but very expensive) chairs that were on display with the table (of course…they do that on purpose)! Although we couldn’t afford to buy these chairs for the entire table (we went with these whitewash wood chairs instead), we decided to ask for two of them for Christmas. Both of our parents pitched in and each bought us a chair.
4. Stocking Stuffers
Stockings are a big deal in my house. It’s always the first thing we open on Christmas morning while we drink coffee and wait for my grandparents to arrive. My parents always give good, but small gifts in our stockings (including lottery tickets). A few stuffers that I asked for were a Sephora gift card (I desperately need new makeup), dry shampoo, and a Target gift card.
We wish you all a very merry Christmas!
xoxo,
Lauren
