‘She is Magic’ – Hazel’s Golden Birthday No. 3

    March 23, 2023

I love Golden birthdays! So of course, we needed to celebrate this girlie for all the magic that she is, and birthday No. 3! Look below for a glimpse into her special day. Details and links of everything you see are included.

    Balloons

All Hazel requested for her party was balloons. And didn’t Alissa with Twee Partees just nail them? I gave her my vision, and she made it come to life. She even has these adorable arches to set the scene. She also accommodated my schedule, and was able to come setup the day before the party which made my morning a lot less stressful. Alissa enjoys bringing joy and celebration to any celebration, and nothing makes her more excited than the smiles and sometimes tears of very happy customers. She certainly captured Hazel’s heart…her smile when she saw them was priceless.

Luxury Picnic Tables & Party Planning

No party is complete without a helping hand. Zenobia with Lyfe of the Party was such a lifesaver to me! It started with me reaching out about her low tables and cushions, and ended with her ordering the flowers for me, and creating arrangements too! Once I explained the theme, and the colors, she made every effort to order different cushion colors, and linens to match. It saved me time, and made the decision process so much easier. She is detail oriented, and made sure to send photos of everything as the weeks led up to the event. I mentioned to her that I wanted to keep the florals pretty, but low budget, so we ended up finding them all at Trader Joes, including this unicorn babies breath…how pretty! Did you know you can order their florals in advance for an event to ensure you get what you need?

    Macarons

Wow is all I can say about Gleena at Gleesweets and her macarons. First off, the detail and decoration on each individual macaron is impeccably perfect. But, the taste and consistency of these delectable bites are to die for! We went with her most popular flavors, Cookies & Cream and White Chocolate Raspberry. Needless to say, there were no leftovers. Gleena also specializes in cupcakes and other sweet treats.

    Fun Extras

Glitter yourself! I set up an area where all the little girls could play dress-up, and feel like a princess for the day. The tutus, magic wands, face glitter and hair tinsel was loved by all!

It was the best day! Thanks to Arleigh with Alivia Gray Studios for capturing the event so well. And to Anna Anderson for allowing us to host this beautiful party at her space, State & Society, in Geneva, Illinois.
