When we created Griffin’s nursery in this house, I made the ultimate decision to choose items that could move forward, and grow with him to a future bedroom. So when it came to transitioning him to a big boy bed, and room, we didn’t have to buy all that much stuff.
The bed frame and dresser were the biggest deals we got. We’re all familiar with Wayfair, but did you know they offer “open box” deals? Essentially, its a sale section that offers like-new products at a reduced cost because a customer who bought that product opened the box, but decided not to keep it for whatever reason. (Not damaged) We got both pieces that way, and I was very happy with the outcome. Especially because they can be pieces we can use for Griffin until he leaves the nest…wah! Not sure how I can even fathom that lol!
Most of the bedroom decor all stayed the same…we just moved things around a bit. The only new pieces I bought were the “bro” print and frame, the sky chair, and bedside light.
Overall, the transition was easy, and fun! Read on to see all the details, and bedroom source links.
